WHAT IS IT?
The Music Producer Boot Camp is a music production workshop designed to provide experience for those individuals who want to produce and remix music professionally. Today’s music is going through a major evolution and our goal is to help you navigate through it and empower you to push the evolutionary process yourself.
WHAT KIND OF GEAR WILL I NEED?
Whether you like Hip Hop, Pop, Techno, Jazz, R&B, Gospel or Rock, we want to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to help manifest your musical dreams. A crucial aspect to that is the gear you use. Although still used, you don’t need 6 foot long mixing consoles and big, heavy machines with a million knobs that cost a lot of money and take up a lot of space to be a record producer. Most of what you need to make hit records and large checks is right in your computer.

What is unique about this course? The instructors have the real world experience relevant to today’s music industry and they practice what they preach daily in their careers as producers and engineers. The skills and information learned in this course is something that you can use and see the results of right now.
The instructor’s have worked on projects that have received awards and sold millions of records. Now, they personally want to deliver this knowledge to you.
Craig Groove and Chris Trevett started out much like you, so they understand what it’s like to have the eagerness to learn, but not have the means or support to make it happen. They figured out how to get started in this business called music and how to take it to the level of success most desire and now you will know how it’s done step-by-step. When you finish this course, you will have the (skills) and tools you need to make it happen.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This Boot Camp is catered to the passionate, creative, entrepreneur minded musician who is NOT looking to end up working for someone else. Given the state of today’s music industry, the opportunities for an entrepreneur to succeed are higher than they have ever been. When you complete this course, we want you to look for clientele… not a job. There are no certain criteria… other than the love of music. Although it helps… you do not have to be a great musician. Whether you have the gift of drumming on the dinner table or you are a classically trained pianist… you will be on equal footing and everyone will gain the knowledge necessary to take their game to the next level.
WHAT IS THE END RESULT?
You will learn the skills you need in order to create professionally sounding creations and exposing you to the many tools and techniques you can use to do this. Each participant will also walk away with the knowledge of what the steps are of getting paid from their work. Special attention will be given to the business of being a music producer which is often overlooked and the most important. You will know how to get your music placed with major artists and how to get meetings with record executives. Also you’ll get detailed information about publishing, copyrights and all around setting yourself up as a business.
